I am a performance maker & theatre director.
I make new, frequently unusual theatre, direct theatre & opera and act in theatre, TV and film.

I’ve recently been with the Shakepeare's Globe Studio, very much enjoying the interactive experience of the Globe and Sam Wanamaker theatres.
I trained at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and Exeter University (MA Theatre Practice).
For seven years I was a core member of pioneering experimental group Apocryphal Theatre. I've enjoyed working with many other artists and companies, including Station House Opera, touring widely to many venues and festivals such as Latitude Festival, Tate Modern and the National Theatre.
I come from a British/Egyptain Greek family.

Zoe has been invited to talk about performance on a panelat The Accidental Festival at the ICA, London and to students at Chichester University.
SUPPORTED ARTISTS / UNIVERSITY WORK
Seth Kriebel and Zoe Bouras are supported by Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) collaborating on research projects withDr Martin Welton.
Zoe was invited to share her experince as a maker, leading the Making Site-Specific Theatre unit for third years at QMUL and supervising the students making their own work.
She has also been invited as an artist to direct on the BA (Hons)Acting students at the Univesity of Bedfordshire in their final year production, Anne Washburn’s ‘Mr Burns - a Post-Electric Play’.
Zoe was invited back to co-devised a show with first years ‘I want to stay and stay…’ inspired by Will Ashon’s ‘The Passengers’.
MENTOR
Recently Zoe has become a volunteer mentor for the excellent charity Arts Emergency, helping 16-17 year olds engage with the performing arts world.
